What is Google Drive?
Google Drive is cloud storage for Google Workspace. It allows users to store files securely and access them from anywhere using any device. Users can also share files with friends and colleagues over Google Drive. Let's look at some of the features of Google Drive. Flexi-growth: Google Drive gives users the flexibility to scale. Start with up to 30 GB of storage for each of your users at ₹125/user/month. Need more? Google Workspace has three more plans — Standard, Plus, and Enterprise — with higher levels of storage. Business Starter, Business Standard and Business Plus plans can be purchased for a maximum of 300 users. There is no minimum or maximum user limit for Enterprise plans. View any file: View over 50 file types right in your browser, including images, HD videos, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop files, even if your device doesn't run the file's original software. Save files from Web apps directly to Google Drive, and launch those apps by opening these file types from your Drive. Import even your handwriting: Import anything. Optical character recognition (‘OCR’) even lets you import editable text from PDFs and images. With Google Docs, it's easy to import your existing work and convert it from most common text, spreadsheet and presentation formats so you can edit and share. Templates: Templates help to ensure consistency when creating content and to save time when creating the same document. Repeatedly, you can use a template. Templates can be created from Google docs, sheets, slides and forms. The Template Gallery has general templates provided by Google for documents like project proposals, meeting notes, time sheets and consulting proposals. Google Drive tools and options: It's possible to work in Google Drive without an active Internet connection. To make your Google docs sheets and slides available offline on your device, you must initially be connected to the Internet and accessing Google Drive from the Google Chrome Web browser. |
AI Power
Google Drive uses artificial intelligence and machine learning to enhance search results for quick access to important content. Any file can be stored in Google Drive. The actual amount of storage available to you will depend on the workspace license, but it's useful to know that Google docs, sheets, slides and drawing files do not count toward your drive storage.
DID YOU KNOW?If you delete a shared file, the owner who shared it will not lose it. But if you have deleted everything within the file, the owner of the file will also lose it.In this case, you can find the revision history in the menu file. From there you can see the previous version, and reverse to it.
If you are the owner of a file and you deleted it, this is where you go to get it back. |
